Hi! I'm Lisa. I grew up by the light of daytime TV, praying at the alter of teenybopper tabloids, interviewing friends on my Talkboy. All that, along with a guest-starring role on my high school's daily morning announcement program brought me to NYU, where I studied Journalism and Gender Studies. I kicked off my media career at the exact time when it was totally normal to have your job duties include both blogging and transcribing interviews on a foot pedal-run recorder. I have gotten to interview idols, help create some, and pretend to be them on social media. My specialty is taking people, publications, and TV into the digital and cross-platform-straddling spaces they "don't get" all the while advocating for the audiences we have traditionally left behind to finally be spoken to (and heard from). In 2019, I founded a creative agency focused on all things words. We take a words-first approach to branding: we name businesses, develop messaging, and help them launch or grow with the right words in the right places. Oh, we also make games. Let's chat — or play!
