served as Vice President for Faculty Development for the ECC Academic Senate which entailed 20% released time from my job as a counselor to create and coordinator faculty development workshops.

Also serve on NCDA Technology Committee and will chair a presentation on counselors using technology for the June 2017 NCDA Conference.

Support the Association in all endeavors and initiatives. Involved in planning the successful Fall Conference at Moorpark College, Friday, November 7th last year. Received the CCDA 2014 Robert Swain Lifetime Achievement Award. For 2015, involved in starting the CCDA Online Career Journal and the CCDA New Leadership Academy and planning a northern California CCDA conference November 6 in San Francisco and a southern California conference in Spring 2016 in Glendale

Sponsored two statewide conferences with over 300 people attending. Served on conference proposal selection committee during three years from 2014-2016. Maintained budget and membership levels and increased involvement. Also served as editor for the California Career Development Online EJournal.

Chaired ECC Career Center Advisory; planned and implemented Career Center programs; applied for and received Carl Perkins (Career and Technical Education funding for full time Career Counselor for a 3 year period.) Coordinated "large community college career counseling services model program." Chaired and served on California Community College Statewide Advisory from 1994 to 2007. Wrote Statewide Policy Paper on Career Development for the Advisory in December 2008. Chaired and coordinated Region 7 Career Counselor workshops annually.
