I am a creative producer, curator, educator and artist.Partner in startle.fi.Director of UPLOAD International Film Festival for Children and Youth.I design socially inclusive mobile technology initiatives which often evolve with and reflect the experience of the user. I seek ways to de-mystify technology and initiate new forms of democratic creative production and experience. Operating as We Love Technology, I curate an annual conference of the same name which celebrates the misuse of old and new technologies. Through projects such as Mobile Museum and Podcamp I continue to develop new ways to use text messages as site-specfic poems in unexpected places.From 1999 to 2009 as the director of Blink I commissioned short films through Short Circuits, Low Budget Lottery Award, MOViEs and Pocket Shorts. A number of shorts went on to win several awards and received festival and broadcast TV screenings around the world.With my creative partner Daniel Blackburn I developed Bluevend, a unique vending machine that shares mobile content via Bluetooth and use it share free films and run challenges at key international festivals such as the One Take Competition in Rotterdam.
