REAL TeenTalk is a program that supports teens in middle school and high school, and teaches the practices of empathy and inclusivity in classroom settings. More than just teaching core subjects, classroom procedures, and meeting the demands of curriculum expectations, REAL TeenTalk highlights ways of teens socializing beyond their smartphones, and how to be mindfully aware when they see others suffering, alone or isolated. Knowing that this generation is suffering greatly from the constant social pressures of adolescence, this is a platform where teens can share and talk, and be themselves without judgement. And, because teenagers need to be heard, and feel safe, Lisa Tiano's school-based program gives students concrete tools and strategies they can use both inside and outside the classroom for the rest of their lives.

REAL Teen Talk and InnerStarGirl were created to re-invent pre-teens and teenagers, teaching them the practices of living as healthy, confident and authentic young leaders. We believe that every teen and young adult has their own story, whether it be one challenge or several obstacles they face in their young lives. Adolescents today are faced with a myriad of issues unlike ever before. They experience social and academic pressures, bullying, body image and body shaming, and friendship shifting. Add in the impact of social media and these issues become compounded exponentially.Our workshops and classes give pre-teens and teens a safe and unique platform to participate in peer-centered bonding, while learning how to see conflict as an opportunity for positive change.__________"GIRLS, WE LEAD" is a campaign designed to help widen the lens for young girls and women to acknowledge and celebrate their strengths. Our initiative aims at helping our generation of girls to define their inner beauty, to feel comfortable in their own skin, and to empower girls and women to use their voices to create positive change. Beyond the #metoo movement, girls experience low self-esteem and suffer from social pressures, body shaming, and the negative impact of social media. Our core values are about instilling confidence in girls so they can be equipped to become leaders. Amazing things can happen when girls support one another and have each other's backs.
