The final bill included the fund; 75 percent of the funding went directly to state and local governments and nonprofit organizations in the form of grants. • Activated bipartisan Home Health Caucus, analyzed regulatory issues at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and increased the profile of home healthcare. Organized events for national trade association conferences with over 300 attendees. Introduced the Home Health Care Access Protection Act of 2007 and secured 87 Member of Congress cosponsors from both parties.
