Trade Liaison Manager
CurrentManage all aspects of wholesale trade department within an interior design showroom environment,selling custom luxury furnishings and decor. Lines include LEE, Baker/McGuire, Palecek, Verellen, Fibreworks and Thibaut. Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships within the trade community, placing and tracking orders and fulfillment.Responsible for developing and maintaining B2B relationships within the design trade communityin Portland and Nationwide.Personally developed game plan for “start-up” operation resulting in a 400% increase in sales over 2022.Manage high daily volume of email and phone communication with clients and vendors.Provide detailed product pricing and communicate expectations for fulfillment timelines.Maintain showroom displays and sample library.Work directly with interior designers on product selection based on project scope and budget, place order and manage fulfillment process from start to finish. Requires expert follow-up skills to close the sale.Communicate order status and work with vendor and client on any problems that may arise during production.Manage onboarding process of new accounts. Provide product training to trade partners with the goal to increase awareness of our resources and how they can benefit their design projects. Plan showroom events to further increase sales and product knowledge. This includes vendor showings and guest speakers.
