I was a sole MLA at Oilfields General Hospital. I gained experience in Active Care, Patient Collection Unit, Long Term Care, and Emergency.I performed Phlebotomy, ECG tracings, transmitted ECG tracings, Occult Bloods, Urinalysis, Centifuging and aliquoting, stocked supplies, checked expiry dates, ordered supplies, cleaned pipettes, delivered reports, data entry, special tests, followed policy, proceedure and protocol, participated in ongoing professional development, transfer of specimens, mentored and evaluated a Medical Lab Tech student for her specimen collections practicum.I had excellent Patient/Client rapport. I obtained my Phlebotomy refresher certificate Through West Coast College of Health Care on October 26th, 2016.
