Radio Lollipop is an international registered children's charity. It was established in England in 1979, and now has a strong presence not only in the UK but also in the US, New Zealand and Australia. Case Study on "Re-Imagine Legal" - an innovative partnering approach between a law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills and Telstra.

I focused on client-centred solutions and innovation as part of a global pursuits role. My work therefore involved co-designing and implementing innovative solutions with clients to address pressing client needs, creating an exceptional client experience, which includes:- 'Re-Imagine Legal': an award-winning process, methodology and mindset underpinned by Design Thinking where we partner with clients to ask: How Might We Re-Imagine how Legal is provided to your business? - Applying Lean Start Up methodology and elements of the Agile Sprint approach to prototype and test client innovations to implement solutions with impact.Case Study 1: "Re-Imagine Legal" - We are honoured and excited to have partnered with Telstra Legal to develop an award-winning* innovation collaboration framework, where we stand beside each other and face into the uncertainty and disruption together. By taking this holistic approach, together we have helped to develop a sustainable and growing Innovation movement resulting in significant and quantifiable cost savings and productivity, using Design Thinking, and lean/agile approaches to experimentation and prototyping. * FT Asia Pacific Innovative Lawyers Award 2016 for "Most Innovative In-House Legal Team" ; and Janders Dean Legal Innovation Index 2016. This work is now the subject of a Harvard Law Case Study. Case Study 2: In my role as the Client Relationship Director for a global manufacturing client, we partnered with them through a discovery phase of research (desk and observational), site visits and conversations to gain insight into their stated and unstated needs. We then co-designed various innovative and customised solutions including an innovative and proprietary approach to M&A deals, which we tested and refined. We identified both financial and non financial benefits for both the client and our law firm.

- Leading, managing and mentoring a cross-cultural team of 18 BD professionals across Asia in offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Bangkok, and Tokyo.- Conceiving and implementing the first phase of the BD Asia Blueprint, which aims to raise the value of the BD function in Asia by attracting and developing specialist talent, building strong foundations and having a relentless focus on clients. - Played a key role in significant synergy results in Asia.- With the global CRM team, introduced various client relationship initiatives.- Involved with unlocking the value of our offering, resulting in pricing initiatives that increased profitability.- Active member of the Global BD Leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

The role of the ABC Advisory Council established under the ABC Act 1983 includes:- To facilitate communication between the community and the ABC Board. - To provide advice to the ABC Board in relation to ABC programs and program policies. - To provide an overview for the Board of community concerns and interests. - To carry out community consultation programs on ABC programming initiatives and policies.

Senior Program Maker, Presenter and Producer, 1485 ABC Eyre Peninsula & Far West, South Australia. Based in Port Lincoln, South Australia.This involved:- presenting the local regional breakfast show from 6.30am until 9am each weekday morning;- writing a daily blog on the ABC Eyre Peninsula website;- MC'ing community events, including civic receptions such as the unveiling of the bronze Makybe Diva statue on the Port Lincoln foreshore, the Australia Day civic reception and the annual Tunarama Festival tuna toss.

My practice focused on the roll out of digital interactive television across Europe, new media joint ventures, Internet start-ups and providing intellectual property and eCommerce legal advice. My time at Ashursts included a 12 month secondment to one of the clients, Multex.com.

I provided legal advice including drafting and negotiating agreements in relation to all aspects of intellectual property, eCommerce and competition law. As part of the competition law practice, I regularly conducted Trade Practices Act compliance training all over Australia for a major sports manufacturing/retail client. I also worked as a wine lawyer in a practice which involved acting for various French vignerons, and also Australian wine makers.

In 1999, I was seconded to the position of Lead Lawyer, anz.com - the e-Commerce section of the ANZ Banking Group Ltd. In this role, I gave strategic and legal advice to a large team of managers.
