Lisa Taxin Portner, PA-C a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant and is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania by both the Medical and Osteopathic Boards. Lisa brings vision, commitment and a standard of excellence to her patients. Although she formally studied fine art and began her career as a make-up artist, Lisa transitioned to a career in medical sciences after seeing firsthand the scope of the medical field from both a patient and caregiver perspective. Shortly after graduating from college, she sustained serious injuries in an automobile accident. Two years later, after experiencing her father's battle and loss with brain cancer, she decided to dedicate her career to fostering the advocacy for patients and their families that she found lacking in her experiences. Ultimately, this interest lead her to focus on the promotion of optimal health and well being for others after discovering how paramount they were for her own life. Lisa’s curiosity as to how to maximize these benefits for patients drive her to continually learn and grow as a medical practitioner. She is a caring, compassionate professional who prides herself on maintaining open and productive communication with her patients. Lisa graduated from Thomas Jefferson’s Physician Assistant program (formerly Philadelphia University) after obtaining her Radiologic Technologist certification from Crozer Chester Medical Center and her Bachelor of Fine Art from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. Additionally, she has been trained and certified by Biote Medical, Institute of Laser Medicine and Arthrex Medical. With her artistic eye and advanced training, Lisa is well suited for her specialty in Aesthetic Medicine and Wellness. She provides the following services for patients.
