I am an accomplished health policy researcher with 25+ years in the industry. I partner closely with clients in both the public and private sectors to evaluate and track innovative payment and policy interventions. Leveraging my deep understanding of healthcare delivery, payment systems, and policymaking, I develop and utilize complex analytical tools to better understand and improve the health of individuals and populations. Throughout my career, I have acquired extensive experience in the monitoring and evaluation of patient-centered medical homes (PCMH), accountable care organizations (ACO), and other value-based payment demonstrations, such as CMS’s Home Health Value Based Purchasing (HHVBP) and Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI) models. Additionally, I have a wide research base in subject areas including the 340B Drug Discount Program, its impact on hospital payments and Medicare drug expenditures, and the hospital inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS). I currently hold a seat in the CCW VRDC, CMS’s secure data enclave, working under several DUAs and leveraging my expansive knowledge of healthcare datasets. My analytic skillset includes advanced SAS programming, statistical analysis, and expertise in Medicare (Parts A/B/C/D), Medicaid, and private insurance claims and administrative data.
