IndiGrow is the Indigo Shire Council’s economic advisory committee. Through IndiGrow, local business leaders provide strategic advice to Council to drive sustainable economic growth.IndiGrow comprises members of Council and Indigo’s business community who meet quarterly to identify economic opportunities that improve the financial, social and environmental capacity of Indigo’s businesses.The committee provides accessible representation for industry to work with Council to advocate for sustainable economic growth and prosperity for all of Indigo Shire.

Volunteer Leadership Roles in rural & regional Australia, local committees & support groups; disability and education space; tourism and economic development; grant funding applications; local primary school council; support local community groups and assist individuals in hardship (black summer bushfires and COVID lockdowns); Lead campaign volunteer in federal election campaign for local independent MP Helen Haines - engaged daily with community members, small business owners, community groups, individuals etc within th electorate; Participated in the Team Orange Volunteer Program in Canberra, an insightful and interactive way to participate in the day to day runnings of our local MP; Establishing a ‘Community Hub’ for community members to come together to discuss Federal & state issues and identify important issues and concerns of the community to then engage with our Federal & State counterparts to achieve a positive outcome.
