StoryCorps is the acclaimed national nonprofit that preserves and shares humanity's stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world. The Chief Program Officer (CPO) establishes and champions strategic, innovative and dynamic engagement opportunities for the general public, community organizations and institutions. StoryCorps Programs animates the organization's mission and reflects its core values, the latter including diversity, accessibility and cultural humility. Departments within the Program division includes Interview Collection (comprised of the iconic national mobile tour and StoryBooths in Chicago and Atlanta), Audio Production (of the award winning Morning Edition segments), Print & Animation Production, Recording & Archive, Learning & Engagement, and Research & Evaluation. The CPO serves as a member of the Executive team and co-leads the organization's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility effort.

Provided overall management and leadership of programs, direct and contracted services, partnerships, and initiatives/pilots that resulted in increased and improved client access to meaningful employment and effective career-focused education and training.

Managed the $6.9 million workforce development grant portfolio that increased employment opportunities for unemployed and under-employed residents of Upper Manhattan and encouraged employers to hire local talent

Strengthened client's organizational capacity to leverage resources to implement innovative programs that reach underserved or marginalized populations.

Increased access of grassroots nonprofit to funding opportunities to federal funding opportunities; Provided training and financial support of affordable housing development in Alabama and Tennessee;Managed project team that implemented technical assistance to aspiring social entrepreneurs in New York City;Explore potential opportunities for expansion of financial and technical assistance programs in Miami, FL and Trenton, NJ;Managed contract compliance for US Department of Labor, US Small Business Administration and US Department of Housing and Urban Development grant programs.

Recruited over 300 educational and non-traditional (i.e. health clinics, retail stores, government offices, etc.) organizations to test market and implement support for this television-based adult learning system in El Paso, Pittsburgh, New York and Seattle.

Increased the accessibility of financial and technical assistance services to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in economically distressed communities in Central Brooklyn and Harlem.

Established the organization's first prospect research division for this $250 million capital campaign, designing research policy, procedures and methodology and identifying and training new staff which during the height of the campaign totaled 10 individuals

Managed research specialists in consumer marketing, demography and social policy that generated $1,000,000 in revenue per year;Support business development activities to secure new retainer clients;Implemented primary and second research studies ranging in price from $200 to $200,000
