- Provide leadership to health education and health promotion outreach programs for youth and adults, including but not limited to the following programs: Extension Wellness Ambassadors, Extension Get Fit, Walk Across Arkansas, Yoga for Kids, Healthy Lifestyle Choices, Health Literacy and Powerful Tools for Caregivers.- Consult with county agents on programming needs in their counties. Assist with program planning.- Provide support and training for County Extension Agents in delivering and evaluating health and healthy living programs. - Identify and interpret health promotion and health education research concerning youth and adults for use in Extension health educational programs. - Research, develop, disseminate, and evaluate research-based programs to improve health in Arkansas. - Develop educational materials to strengthen educational programs to improve health.- Respond to emerging public health issues with educational information for use by media and county agents. - Program planning, program development, implementation and evaluation of health education and outreach projects for both youth and adults- Providing support for staff development activities and training related to health education, including physical activity, for youth and adult programs- Engagement in collaboration and partnership development with stakeholders, extension agents and faculty to facilitate health education and outreach activities- Preparing and disseminating educational materials, publications and curriculum materials to support health program efforts targeting established and emerging needs at the state and county level- Development of an active applied research program to support health education and outreach extension activities- Development of partnerships with research faculty and extension personnel to facilitate such research.

Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs in health, nutrition, resource management, and family life that serve the needs of individuals and families in Garland County. Grant writing, implementation of funded projects, and budget management.Advisor to group of over 350 older adult volunteers. Responsible for volunteer training and development and coordination of educational outreach program delivery in the community. Responsible for 4-H youth development programming in family and consumer sciences.
