Director of HR Operations April 2018 - July 2018: With the acquisition of Austin HR, LLC by Asure Software, Inc. on 4/1/2018, my primary responsibilities changed. Under the new leadership of the VP/General Manager of the consulting division, I was responsible for the integration of people, systems, and processes. RESULTS: a successful transition of 100% of the employees of Austin HR in the first 100 days with ZERO voluntary resignations and the transfer of my responsibilities to an out-of-state successor.Director of Operations June 2017 - March 2018: My responsibility was to keep employees and clients delighted! I oversaw the day-to-day operations of the business, management and support of the operations team. I built operational functions and readied the company for the 400% growth in 8 months. Actively participated in sales, consulting, and the acquisition activity. RESULTS: Co-Founders achieved their vision and sold Austin HR on 4/1/2018 to a publicly traded company, Asure Software.

I provided strategic leadership by articulating Talent Development/Management needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders, and to the Board of Directors. Responsible for the tactical actions of directing and managing the efforts of the human resources, information technology, and facilities/office business functions for the company, including the budgets for each area.Director of Human Resources: July 2015 - November 2016Directly responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. I provided strategic leadership by articulating Human Resources needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and to the board of directors. I was also is responsible for the tactical actions of directing and managing the efforts of the human resource function for the company.

Volunteer position: Board Member and held the office of Treasurer. Charged with stewardship of the chapter’s funds, and responsible for:1. Monitoring and reporting the chapter’s financial position to the Board on a monthly basis.2. Maintaining a current and accurate chart of accounts and accounting classes within the established accounting system.3. Ensuring that accounting and financial procedures follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).4. Reviewing, on an annual basis, the chapter’s financial policies and procedures, and reporting issues that need to be modified in the interest of the members.5. Providing oversight and team leadership of the chapter’s annual budget review and approval.RESULTS: Created a Proven Process of accurate budgeting and timely monitoring of financial status.

Provided on-site assistance to 250 employees as their HR Generalist while providing strategic advice to the US Sales Team.

Built, oversaw, and led the Human Resource Department practices and objectives. Worked to promote an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes productivity, quality and goal attainment. As the company's first Director of Human Resources, my responsibilities included the development of processes and metrics that supported the achievement of the company's business goals. Coordinated the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs, reporting to the Board of Directors. Projects included restructuring the benefit programs, job descriptions, transitioning the firm to a cloud-based payroll/HRIS system, and finally managing the Human Resources processes and tasks during our merger into a larger mortgage company. Corporation closed in August 2014.

I was responsible for the three functions of Finance, HR, and IT.

From Office Manager in 1988, to COO, CFO, CHRO and 23% shareholder when I sold my shares. I am most proud of how I helped the entrepreneur grow his company, sell it to the second generation, then create an environment that supported profitability to transition to the third generation.
