As an Investment Counselor at Citi I worked with 30+ ultra- high net worth clients including individuals, multi-generational families, corporations, and endowment and foundations. I was solely responsible for the entire investment relationship, covering the sales process from beginning to end. This enabled me to establish deep connections with clients and provide them with customer service that went above and beyond their needs. I prepared investment solutions that were customized to each client’s specific needs. Investment portfolios consisted primarily of traditional investment managers and were complemented with alternative investments and structured solutions to achieve the desired risk adjusted return. I worked closely with internal product partners to ensure a smooth investment implementation process for the client.

As a Vice President Investment Associate, I trained and managed seven analysts. Training ranged from system usage, to pitch deck preparation and trade execution. I provided continuous oversight over the analysts and reviewed their work for accuracy. I assisted with the preparation for client meetings and attended in person and zoom meetings. I started by sitting in on client meetings and was soon able to pitch single investment ideas. As an Assistant Vice President, Investment Associate, I focused on preparing materials for client meetings which included performance, holdings overview, and new investment recommendations. I assisted with daily client requests that included providing performance information, and informing of upcoming maturities and/or capital call notices. I entered unsolicited trade orders and assisted with bulk and complex trade orders together with our trading desk.

As an Analyst at Scotiabank, I prepared over 300 pitchbooks covering clients' bond performance, market conditions and new issue recommendations. I worked on over 200 bookrun transactions across a variety of industries in the high yield and investment grade space.

As an intern with a team of only 5 members, I was assigned a lot of responsibility from the first day on the job. I quickly learned how to use Bloomberg and its excel add-in and how to compile the extracted data in a presentable manner. I assisted the senior financial analysts with budget forecast reports and internal and external audit requests. I also worked with the sales team to compile daily sales data reports and was solely responsible to ensure that all data was extracted correctly and then sent out to the relevant teams in the company.
