Leveraging 20+ years of community and economic development experience - including in historically under-resourced neighborhoods and regions - Lisa currently provides a soft landing for community-based investment within J. Jeffers & Co.'s ESG-centered redevelopment projects. Inside and outside of New Markets Tax Credit deals, she participates in sourcing impact-oriented commercial tenants, securing capital investment through public and private grants, and building related organizational capacity to support project sustainability. Throughout her career, Lisa has viewed historic preservation as means to commercial revitalization, listing two commercial districts in the National Register of Historic Places and deploying the Main Street model within a traditional downtown environment alongside a diversity of community stakeholders. Today, she focuses her efforts on activating revitalized spaces for optimal community benefit, in strong and perpetual collaboration with our local, regional and national partners.
