I am formally trained as a medical lab technician (bioanalytiker) with a specialty in clinical chemistry. For a period of 7 years, I worked as a lab technician at Department of Biochemistry, Glostrup Hospital (now Rigshospitalet at Glostrup) carrying out a wide range of clinical biochemistry and research-related analyses, maintenance of lab equipment and training of students.Subsequently, I was emplyoed for 4 years in the lab of Prof. Ulrik Gether, University of Copenhagen, where my responsibilities included research analyses, maintenance of lab equipment, ordering of consumables and training of students. At 7TM Pharma I worked on national and international research projects, which included tests of potential drugs in various assays and related cell culturing. My responsibilities included part of in vitro ADME with investigation of drug stability in microsomes and hepatocytes as well as their solubility.Since 2009 I have been employed at Novo Nordisk A/S, where I mostly have worked on research and development of drug candidates for treatment of patients with hemophilia. I work independently and have to great degree planned and carried out day to day experiments and analyzed data. I have primarily worked with flow cytometry, testing binding of proteins and antibodies to thrombocytes and white blood cells in human and murine blood and plasma.
