The Compute for Climate Fellowship is a funding R&D program from AWS and UNESCO. We support Climate Tech startups using a great deal of AI and cloud computing to address the climate crisis. Our aim is to accelerate the fight against the climate crisis by providing startups with AI and advanced cloud computing, funding, PR, and expert technical advisors.

We've raised $3m to date from leading tech and media investors including Hearst, Broadway Video, Joanne Wilson, and Mike Krieger (cofounder of Instagram).KitSplit's core product is a local rental marketplace for gear rentals. The ultimate vision is to build a one-stop shop for visual content creators to get everything they need including gear, locations, and services. To that end, I brokered the acquisition of a competitor, Cameralends in 2017, and Free Music Archive, an incredible resource of royalty-free music with a million monthly unique visitors (freemusicarchive.org). We also run Viewfinder, a blog by and for visual storytellers (blog.kitsplit.com); and a free coaching program for women in media (womeninfilm.kitsplit.com).
