For my master thesis internship, I was invited to join the GENOCOV/Depuradoras group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. iGEM is the biggest synthetic biology competition in the world, with almost 200 teams competing each year. My role as wiki manager was to build the entire website which would later contain all the content of our project, the experiments and their results, human practises, and our modeling. Therefore, I had to teach myself how to code HTML and CSS and build a website. This pathway was desired to be part of a metabolic network that produces poly-hydroxybutyrate (PHB) anaerobically in E. coli.
