My expertise in job search is thanks to the thousands of job seekers who accepted to share their stories and successes. I have worked with people from all sectors and within all levels in an organization. Curiosity and questioning have allowed me to gain an understanding of companies’ HR practices and hiring strategies.Since hiring is based on the demonstration of competencies, I assist individuals in showcasing themselves, in writing and verbally, with that in mind. Recognizing the need to understand the job search process, I conceptualized and designed a model and brought it to life by creating a game. This game was used in workshops and conferences to create an experiential learning activity of the job search process.Workshop facilitation has always been part of my approach in creating support and motivation for job seekers. Over the years, I have lead the design and redesign of training varying from 3 hours to 15 days using an experiential and interactive approach.

As a consultant and trainer, I worked with communities, private sector, and non-profit organizations from local to national in scope. As a job search content expert, I contributed to a national team to develop a four-day course targeted to employment counselors. As a traveller, I felt privileged to have had the opportunity to conduct numerous trainings and train the trainer programs in NB, AB, NL, NU, MBWorking with senior citizen groups was so much fun. I was on the road for a few years to assist them in leadership development and conducted well over 50 workshops (4 days each).
