As the HR Site Leader for a fast-growing high-tech company in Sweden, formerly Arcam AB, I oversaw the HR department, aligning it with organizational goals and driving new initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, I was part of the Management Team and served as the Senior HR Partner to both the Management Team and the Engineering Management Team. Additionally, I was a member of the global People and Culture team, reporting to the HR Leader for Europe.My role encompassed strategic and operational responsibilities, collaborating with on-site and global management to align HR strategies with business objectives, foster a positive corporate culture, and enhance employee engagement. I ensured compliance with labor laws, managed employee relations and disputes, and led the on-site HR team in recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.I focused on building positive employee relations and managing concerns and complaints. Ensuring site-specific HR practices aligned with the global strategy fostered a cohesive and inclusive workplace culture. Key responsibilities included creating leadership forums, advising and coaching leaders, crisis management, labor law and union negotiations, compensation and benefits, talent management, and change management. As Project Manager for the GE integration for HR, I played a significant role in this organizational change.Collaborating with our EHS Manager, I implemented and ensured compliance with the organizational and social work environment legislation introduced in 2016. During COVID-19, I managed downsizing negotiations, reducing the workforce by one-third in 2020 and another third in 2021, while relocating production. My strong leadership skills, extensive HR knowledge, and ability to communicate effectively and manage conflicts have been key to my success in this role.
