I plan and implement appropriate curriculum to meet state and international baccalaureate standards.I am a content lead teacher. This role requires me to lead meetings with all teachers of my content area, where we decide upon common assessments, standardize our grading practices, and revise units.

I present activities and lessons to teachers in Santa Barbara Unified School District encouraging them to reflect on the ways in which they are currently implementing writing instruction within their own classrooms. I support teachers in a collaborative setting to revise and reflect upon how they can increase student writing stamina and rigor in an engaging manner.
