I was recruited to head up the turnaround from a loss-making, failing organisation to the profitable and healthy business it now is. The financial position has changed so much that the Association that owns it has decided to support the struggle for a smoke-free world both actively and financially. I became responsible for this project within NTvG, setting up an investigative journalism team, lobbying politicians for policy change, and being part of the team behind the criminal charges against the tobacco industry.
