About Lisheng Jiang
Lisheng Jiang possesses extensive knowledge about landscape architecture. He started his career as a landscape designer in China. After completing his master’s study in the Netherlands, he continued working in design offices until recently. In 2023 he decided to transition his career to sustainability and climate. Soon he found his passion in GIS particularly in geospatial analysis. He believed by integrating design and data analysis, there will be vast expanses for reimagining sustainable futures.His previous works addressed complex challenges with urban-landscape, such as stormwater management, insufficient green space, human-nature relations. Influenced by the idea of Zoopolis, he applied transdisciplinary knowledge from nonhuman animals in his graduate project “Snail City”, which was discussed in Dutch Design Week. His graphic skill also received recognition from design offices, teachers and his friends. Lisheng currently lives in Delft with his wife. He enjoys walking in this historical city and surrounding nature, and taking photos.
