Responsible for media coverage of the party’s MPs and peers. I headed up the broadcast team during the 2001 General Election, liaising between MPs, Peers and all of the major broadcasters including the BBC, Sky, ITV and Channel 4.

My responsibilities included writing press releases for all of the party’s MPs and peers and liaising with all the major broadcasters and political editors of the national newspapers on daily news stories.

Advising on UK relations and analysing EU policies at the think-tank of the former President of the European Commission. I worked directly for M. Delors writing reports and attending meetings throughout Europe with him and on the think-tank's behalf. During my time in Paris I also taught EU politics to French undergraduates.
