I was hired at Equinox with the goal of improving their visual identity by updating, maintaining and developing the Desert Planters website. The website was greatly improved by the use of a more consistent page template and colour scheme, as well as the implementation of photos and the development of graphics that would communicate the higher quality of the products and improve the user experience. This included but was not limited to the development of a logo that would clearly represent their Desert Planter company division. Development of new dynamic slides with the goal of not only enhancing and showcasing their planters but also with the idea of enticing potential customers to click through to the products. Once the visual enhancements were in placed the website was meticulously studied to greatly improved the SEO. Images were improved not only in colour consistency but also added descriptions for accessibility and recognition of web crawlers. Page URLS were also modified to improve search engine rankings. Within two weeks of meticulously optimizing website the google tools reports were showing a better organic search and visitor reports, much higher than the history showed in the last 3 years. I implement that installation and customization of plugins to enhance the user experience (UX). These are just a few of the great improvements that took placed during my time at Equinox.My position quickly developed into photographing products for sales aids, parts components for use on manuals, instructions booklets etc. I worked extensively in Photoshop colour correcting, creating new life-styles photos, etcI also created and edited videos using Adobe Premiere for use on kiosks and website. Also managed social media accounts.I was responsible of creating a variety of printed material for sales and display aids. I developed sales sheets, booth displays, and graphics to be used in a variety of vendor websites.
