I am an innovative and dependable research scientist with over 20 years of drug discovery experience combined with broad understanding of drug development and scientific background in the areas of Gene Therapy, Oncology, Obesity, Diabetes and Biologics. Throughout my career I have been successful in designing, optimizing and monitoring mammalian cell culture processes to increase productivity and reduce operating costs. These efforts led to multiple Awards of Excellence. Other than manual and automated cell culture I have additional expertise on in-vitro assay development, compound screening and GPCR functional assays. I am passionate about establishing routines and systems for getting things done. I have worked well in a cross-functional team environments, being recognized by my peers and supervisors as a trustworthy and reliable person to work and collaborate with. Most of my projects required a lot of coordination between multiple groups and we routinely generated high quality data within tight deadlines. My interest in new technologies and innovation motivated me to join a pioneer group which successfully established a core robotic cell culture facility.
