A long-time cooperator and supply chain professional, Lissette brings expertise in social-responsibility, logistics, and relationship-building to her work creating real-world impacts for the community.Lissette has extensive supply chain and vendor risk management experience in the financial services area. Her experience encompasses roles at both Canadian and international organisations including a variety of sourcing and vendor risk management roles, she is currently Vendor Compliance Manager at Central 1 Credit Union and previously she was Purchasing Manager at Vancity Credit Union, she held several positions in Supply Chain at the international conglomerate Unilever. Lissette is a designated Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP), and also recently completed her Master in Management, Co-operatives and Credit Unions (MMCCU) at Saint Mary’s University in Nova Scotia. Lissette is a co-founder of the GIA Consulting Co-Operative which provides information, resources and guidance to co-operatives which, amongst many other things, helps co-operatives get off the ground. Lissette also co-represents Canada on behalf of CICOPA Americas, a branch of ICA (International Cooperative Alliance) and recently delivered a presentation to 400+ people around the world highlighting the role of worker co-ops.
