• Managing a team of young, dynamic and competent toxicologists. • Responsible for the overall quality of the services, client management, providing value added solutions to client based queries.• To prepare Human Health Hazard assessment summaries of chemicals/cosmetics.• To analyze and interpret different toxicity study reports to identify the toxic effects of various chemicals on human, animals, aquatic life and environment.

• To prepare robust study summaries (RSS) for Phys-chem, eco-tox, environmental and human health end points in IUCLID 5.5, enabling registration dossiers under REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical) regulation.• Assessing the reliability of toxicological studies (Physico-chemical, (eco)-toxicological data, environmental and human health endpoints) as per Klimisch Scoring System, a standard method used in regulatory schemes.• To extract toxicological data on various FMCG chemicals and ingredients in databases such as Toxnet, NTP, PCPC, RTECS, eChemPortal, ATSDR, Science Direct, RIFM, JECDB, BIBRA, SCCP, EFSA, IARC, JECFA, SCF, RTECS and PubMed etc. IUPAC nomenclature and CAS based searching in SciFinder.• Development of read-across strategy to fill data gaps. • Classification of chemicals according to CLP (Classification, Labelling & Packaging) and GHS (Global Harmonized System).

• Experience in laboratory animal management and experimental techniques in safety assessment studies in a GLP accredited state of art facility.• Experience in conducting preclinical (long term and short term) studies in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) as study personnel and later as a study director. Example of different studies are: Acute Toxicity, Repeated Dose (Sub-acute/ Sub-chronic/Chronic), Carcinogenicity, Development & Reproduction Toxicity (DART), Biocompatibility studies through parental route, Irritation and Sensitization studies, Ecotoxicology studies in fish, honeybee, chicken and pigeon and mutagenicity studies etc.• Efficiently managed Test Substance Control Office in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice.• Highly efficient in development of SOP’s, Study Plan, Study Schedule and Study Reports in accordance with GLP.• Well versed with OECD, ISO, ICH, CIB and DBT Guidelines for pre-clinical testing.
