Production Engineer
CurrentOptimization of load applied to equipment for safe and efficient operations to refine glycerin and edible oil.Utility and product refining equipment include boiler, steam eject vacuum system, spindle booster vacuum system, Thermal oil heater, Distiller and others.In-depth knowledge of the mechanics of such equipment and phase changes of product in high temp & low ambient pressure is required for this role.Proper method to reduce equipment downtime and defective product ratio is taught by Operation Manager. Equipment upgrade proposals are evaluated among the team of engineers, including the director of engineering. CI project management team consists of engineers and quality control and is led by Operations Manager.Troubleshoot and resolve process equipment issues, such as Boiler, Centrifuge, Thermal Oil Heater, Vacuum Pump, Centrifugal Pump, RO system, Water Softener, and Chiller.Execute commissioning and operation on continuous vegetable oil refinery plant, including preparation and markup of PFD and P&ID.Interpret results of process control analyses and make necessary adjustments to optimize plant performance.Work closely with process engineer to ensure equipment functions accordingly to its specifications and capacities, such as the new FFA stripper.
