At Vanilla, my primary role is backend engineering, however, I consistently engage in full-stack web development tasks, leveraging Ruby for backend operations, and employing React.js and TypeScript for the front end, showcasing versatility across the technology stack.

At JPMorgan Chase I worked as a software developer deploying machine learning (ML) models on JPMC's model execution platform. At the firm I played a key role in helping develop scalable, fault tolerant systems which could process requests in real time. Major responsibilities included DevOps and infrastructure work. For example, I helped setup and the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline using Jenkins and configured the app for Kubernetes allowing automating scaling, and management of the application. Additionally, I played a key role in designing and creating the Cassandra tables which supports quick database read and writes with no single point of failure. Lastly, I was able to help create and build a core API for one of the machine learning models which would take a customer profile and evaluate the risk of default on the application.

Restaurology is the science of owning a successful restaurant business. It is a company founded on the beliefs that any restaurant owner can easily and predictably make more money through implementing proven systems. I started this company after helping my parents with their food service business where I was able to help them nearly quadruple their profits. Ever since I've helped my parents improve their business, I've been hungry to help more struggling restaurant owners. I know how it feels to go into the Food and Beverage industry with high expectations only to be crushed with the reality that owning a restaurant is nowhere near as glorious and as fun as it sounds.
