I am a licensed professional counselor and creative mind who thrives on providing the support and counsel individuals need to grow, learn, and succeed. Compassionate, empathic, and strength's focused, I am dedicated to enhancing self-awareness and a sense of well being for all individuals, while also paying close consideration to the cultural, developmental, and financial considerations of each person. With nearly seven years of counseling (career, behavior & mental health) experience, my work within higher education aims to enhance self-awareness, self-efficacy, and a sense of wellbeing. In this effort, I have become effective in program development, leadership, and analysis to identify and address the needs of an organization at large and my individual clients. Throughout my professional experience, I have been involved in the creation of several projects and efforts that reflect this: development of our center's most popular and well attended clinical groups for students suffering from long-term depression; creation of an online workshop series (both live and on demand) to provide students free, preventative psychoeducation; and, the creation of a three-week group workshop series to allow students weekly contact with our center. I am a hardworking leader that aims to identify and address areas where there are unfilled needs within an organization's service offering. I strive to be a leader who is collaborative, yet results-driven to ensure the success of my clients and developed programs. In all client and team conversations, I work to position myself in a way that allows individuals to feel heard, valued, and supported. Outside of my typical counseling experience, I am a creative mind who focuses on ensuring our marketing efforts are creating consistent, effective messaging to ensure effective program development, management, and implementation. I also have experience in freelance photography, Adobe (photoshop, lightroom), and Canva.
