25 years ago, while studying for a PhD in molecular biology and nature conservation, our founder Dr Britt Cordi, discovered the incredible health and wellness benefits of freshly pressed wheatgrass juice.She realised that it needed to be grown organically outdoors and consumed fresh in order to reach its optimum nutritional value and healing potential. Leading a team of top scientists, Britt developed a highly specialised production method called the PLANT OPTO process, ™ which enabled her to lock in all of the essential nutrients and enzymes into the juice and freeze it, keeping it in perfect condition for up to 12 months. In 2009, ‘LiveWheatgrass Ltd’ was founded by Britt and her husband Daniel. Supported by an army of loyal customers who immediately felt the benefits of the fresh wheatgrass juice, the company began to flourish and soon Britt was innovating yet again. New SuperFood juice products were developed and introduced into the range, each with their own unique and powerful benefits, complimenting each other and always staying true to the core values of the company– organically farmed where possible, free from synthetics with absolutely nothing added, nor taken away. Britt never forgot her vision, to give people the confidence to take control of their own well-being and discover the tangible health benefits that these miraculous SuperFood juices have to offer. She travelled the globe, delivering inspirational wellness presentations and helping people to improve their health with informative health updates sent out to LiveWheatgrass customers each week. Fast forward to 2017 and the continual innovation and advancement meant that the business had outgrown the LiveWheatgrass name. ‘Britt’s Superfoods’ was born and the company received exciting funding from private equity investors, ensuring that the crusade to spread the word about the benefits of wheatgrass and superfood juices could continue and expand.
