As Communications Officer for the GCRF Water Security and Sustainable Development Hub, I work closely with academics and stakeholders across an international, interdisciplinary team to articulate and share the impact of our research.

My responsibilities included departmental reporting, stock management and coordination, and communicating with customers either via phone or email. I worked with Microsoft Excel on a daily basis and created new departmental reports as well as managing existing ones. I also contributed and helped manage the monthly departmental newsletter, both in design/layout and content.

My responsibilities included fetching in and turning out 30+ horses per day (as part of a team), organising riding lessons, teaching riding lessons, taking more advanced riders on hacks and helping to run birthday parties. I also worked as part of a team to clear out stables and keep the yard clean and tidy. During school holidays I would also help to run 'Own a Pony Day'.
