Testing a web application involving the following responsibilities:• Functional manual testing covering the newly developed features and products (exploratory, smoke testing, regression, integration and system testing);• Creating, updating and maintaining test cases using TestRail;• Running vulnerability scans with Qualys;• Performing SQL queries to retrieve data or to check that the database has been updated accordingly using MySQL Workbench and PhpMyAdmin;• Testing web services using SoapUI;• Performing API testing with Postman;• Creating automated test for UI features and APIs using Java;• Reporting identified issues in Jira;• Documenting features/modules in Confluence;

• Performing manual functional testing such as exploratory, regression, scenario based testing, UI and installation testing. • Reporting issues using several tools, such as Mantis, Axosoft or Jira.• Organizing the daily activity as well as offering guidance and support for the team.• Submitting daily and weekly reports internally and to the clients. • Maintaining contact with the clients in regards to status updates, issue clarification and performed tasks.

The translating tasks included everything from e-mails to technical books from Japanese <-> English/Romanian.As for interpreting, it involved simultaneous and also consecutive interpreting, from Japanese <-> English/Romanian.
