Spear headed sustainable construction in Portugal and Europe for more than 20 years, created and directed the Lisbon Energy and Environment Agency for 5 years, acted as elected councillor for the opposition in Lisbon Municipality for 2,5 years, contributed to mainstream sustainable construction and urban resilience in Portugal, coordinated the Sustainable Construction Initiative and the Sustainable Construction Living Lab and edited the Portuguese periodical Sustainable Construction.
