Program management in Autonomous Driving Development for EU region

-Established the function of Supplier Software Quality in BMW China. -Defined the function's working processes, methods, and tools.-Representative of BMW China in VDA Automotive Software Quality Advisory Board China. The board involves key German carmakers and software companies in connected driving and automated driving, discussing the quality topics like automotive software development process, functional safety, cybersecurity, OTA, etc.-Responsible for the quality of software and digital services for 3 projects: GNSS, next generation of navigation, HD map. GLDP(Global Leader Development Program) GraduateWorking experience in 4 functions:(1) Technology Scouting and Innovation, Shanghai4 months in BMW China New Technology Scouting and Innovation Team. As a team member, supported the project management of 4 POCs(proof of concept) with start-ups and VCs. Topics include smart cockpit, driver monitoring camera, new battery safety solution, 5G driverless car, etc.(2) Corporate Strategy, Beijing3 months in BMW corporate strategy. A research topic of ACES(Automated, Connected, Electrified and Shared) in automotive industry. Studied the technological state-of-the-art, user profile, competition environment, etc., by means of conducting 3 expert interview, 1 self-designed survey, and reviewing roughly 20 industry reports. The output was adopted as a reference for BMW China top management's decision.(3) Digital Purchasing and Partner Management, Beijing3 months in Digital Purchasing Department. Finalized the nomination of 2 projects: Autonomous Driving Data Center(the 1st large-scale data center for autonomous driving vehicles in China), and BMW Cloud Platform(cloud as the backend of BMW mobile APP). The work included communication with 6 stakeholders, requirements management, business negotiation, contract preparation.(4) Supplier Quality Management, Beijing3 months in Supplier Quality Management for automotive electronics: ADAS system, HUD, 48V battery, head unit, wiring harness, etc. Jointly managed 3 Tier-1 suppliers in industrialization(pre-SOP) phase. Two major activities: (1) conduct onsite audit to check capacity planning, FMEA, control plan, technical cleanness, lean manufacturing, etc. at suppliers; (2) processes and products approval.(5) Supplier Chain Project Management, Beijing3 months in project management for BMW Supply Chain EHS(environment, health, safety). The project successfully built a pipeline system to evaluate and report EHS risks of the overall supply chain in Asia.
