As an operation & purchasing executive, strong communication skills and negotiation skills are needed when dealing with different suppliers. For example, we need to consistently follow up with suppliers to ensure the goods complete on time to meet vessel shipment. Other than that, we had collaborated with professional consultant to learn in improving the production planning, materials planning and also shipping/delivery planning. Hence, we are well use in Wrike BPM tools in our organisation to distribute and follow up tasks among our teammates. Besides, we are using ABAS ERP System to trace our inventory and materials planning for production use too.Besides, I also gain experience in stock checking and warehouse management. Once the goods arrive to our warehouse, we need to ensure the items are separated accordingly and to ensure all the raw materials are easily to be traced by other warehouse team members. Stock checking will be carried out each and every last week of the month to ensure zero discrepancy, this allow me to become more accuracy in inventory stocks and value.
