National decarbonization pathway. Lead to explore the decarbonization pathway towards Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC). National energy demand, energy supply and carbon emissions will be simulated across policy scenarios based on LEAP and GHG Protocol. Policy recommendations will be proposed to achieve 2035 NDC of China.Subnational decarbonization pathway. Lead to establish a subnational model frame to simulate the provincial decarbonization pathway. This work will provide the decarbonization pathway methodology for provinces to achieve carbon targets.Industrial decarbonization pathway. Lead to explore the industrial decarbonization pathway, using a case of enterprises above designated size as a study. Energy demand and carbon emissions of industries will be simulated across policy scenarios. Policy recommendations will be proposed for industries to achieve carbon reduction targets.

Provide advice and assistance to the Company carbon reduction strategy. Review goals of the Company and help develop carbon reduction strategies, provide advice regarding the Company’s business model and facilitate external cooperations.

Participate in discussions and connect with other socially conscious members. Collaborate and vote on ESG issues with corporate, academic, and government network members.

1. Research on Carbon Footprint of Renewable Energy Power Equipment. Performed life cycle assessment (LCA) carbon accounting of solar and wind power products. Identified the boundary, designed the inventory, and developed the carbon footprint calculation model.2. Worked with team members to draft the action plan to achieve the carbon emission peak for the corporate.3. Led team members to explore the long-term pathway in China to achieve carbon targets by analyzing all kinds of energies and sectors. Calculated energy demand, energy supply, GHG emissions and costs by scenario analysis based on LEAP. Promoted the complex energy planning modeling, and identified the main source of carbon emissions of sectors.4. Led team members to explore the decarbonization pathway for the electric power industry. Provided the decision support for decarbonization pathway methodology, and low-carbon technology investment.5. Led team members to simulate the decarbonization pathway for the municipality. Calculated the energy demand, electric power generation, and CO2 emissions. Provided insights on energy transformation. Lead to the development of energy planning model.6. Calculated corporate CO2 emissions. Analyzed environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance. This work leads to sustainable development of the energy corporate.
