My role has since expanded to oversee Marketing and Communications at Flexport. Along the way, I steered the company through the ups and downs as it matured from a fast-growing startup to one of the most recognizable global logistics technology brands of our time. Previously, I led corporate communications for Alibaba Group in the US, overseeing media & influencer relations, crisis management, executive positioning, and digital marketing. During my time at Alibaba, I developed deep expertise in the intersection of e-commerce and technology. I also shepherded the company through an extraordinary period of being an Asia-based company going global amid rising geopolitical tensions. A storyteller at heart, I began my career in business journalism and wrote for leading financial publications such as Forbes and Bloomberg. A global citizen fluent in multiple languages and a proud immigrant, I am deeply committed to diversity and inclusion. In my spare time, I serve as a Vice Chair at local non-profit AAPI New Jersey/Montclair, using the power of a strong voice to bring a more equitable and inclusive society.
