After being laid off due to a shortage of work in the warehouse once again. I decided it was time to move onward and upward, to fulfill a life-long dream of becoming a professional Chef. My passion and love for foods includes all aspects of it from preparing to the end product as well as the joy of eating it. Some of my skills include self-motivation, speed and accuracy with a knife, the ability to learn quickly and to think on my feet. I am capable of working under direct supervision as well as on my own. I maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization. I am capable of evaluating food products to assure freshness and quality. I am currently enrolled in my first year at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario for Culinary Management. After the two year program I will receive a Culinary Management Diploma.
