I am an experienced Independent Photographer based in London, specialising in portraiture.I’ve been taking pictures all my life and it’s my passion. I started off shooting with film, processing them myself, feeling the nerves, excitement and relief in turn. Things have changed somewhat now and I like many other photographers have embraced digital technology and its versatility. I have a Degree and a Master’s degree in photography and have spent my career working in the photography industry. Working for many newspapers and magazines and having work published for a variety of publications and digital media. I also regularly exhibit my work and have in the past had work shown in the National Portrait Gallery in London.My photography business is split into two halves: I work with Photographer Nathalie Crouch where we share our passion for photography with others, with New shoots Photography Training. Teaching them how to get the best out of their camera or smartphone, we run practical workshops including learning about light & composition as well as editing, and the other side concentrates on my commercial photography. I work mainly on location, depending on requirement of my clients. Being involved in both teaching and practicing photography helps stimulate my creativity and gives my portraiture a greater range of variety and breadth of experience, which adds to the work I produce.I believe high quality portraits are really important to all businesses whether large or small. They should be on your website to bring your business to life and to make sure you attract the right clients to you, the clients that you want. 
This is a vital part of your marketing, making sure you as a business owner are visible to your customer and this is a big part of what I do. As a photographer I take pictures of my business clients to fit their brand and as an independent business owner myself I love meeting and working with other businesses, helping them create part of their visual identity for branding, with photography tailored to their needs. But I also understand professional photography can be difficult to budget for for every campaign so I hope by giving some skills to clients, will help them appreciate photography and see the benefits of using it within their businesses, either with a professional like myself or by making sure they use the skills they have been taught.
