Sales in the showroom and on the order desk, which consisted of taking orders over the phone and helping the customers with problems. Reconciled the cash draw, worked with customer to get their bills paid. Controlled the inventory by performing cycle counts and adjusted the inventory counts. Created and received all purchase orders (PO’s) for all special orders and low stock, if any discrepancies, the manufactures were notified. Performed Accounts Payable duties by making sure the product we received was billed and/or credited properly. Communicated directly with manufactures on PO’s, product availability and defective product. Trained new and existing employees. Relieved other employees when they went on vacation. Helped supervise the branch when the Manager was on vacation. After I quit to go to school, at the request of the employer, I returned every summer to work and train employees.
