Hey, I’m Liz 😊I’m the founder of Wired Therapy, a Community Interest Company with one big mission: making high-quality mental health care accessible for young people and adults. From day one, I’ve been passionate about creating a space where therapy is affordable, approachable, and genuinely helpful. 🌱My journey started over a decade ago in Youth Work Practice, supporting teens as they navigated the highs and lows of life. Seeing the mental health system fail so many of them - and feeling its impact myself - lit a fire in me. I knew there had to be a better way to help people who couldn’t access or wait for NHS support. That’s when Wired Therapy was born.At Wired Therapy, we do things differently. It’s not just about counselling and psychotherapy (although we’re great at that too); it’s about creating community-driven, flexible ways to support mental health. Whether it’s through a Pay What You Can Afford model, school-based programmes, intergenerational mentoring during the pandemic, or staff wellbeing sessions on the beach, everything we do is built around the needs of the people we’re helping.I embrace difference because it’s what makes us human. Being neurodivergent myself means I see the world a little differently, which helps me show up as a relational and relatable therapist and business owner. I’m not about waving magic wands; instead, I work ethically with clients to help them uncover the magic within themselves.What matters most to me is connection. Building trust.
