As a Financial Control and Transformation Manager at the Rugby Football Union (RFU), I have over six years of experience in leading and delivering financial accounting and reporting, internal controls, risk management, insurance management, system development and management, and internal and external audit functions. I am a qualified chartered accountant (ACA) with a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of East Anglia.My mission is to drive financial excellence and innovation at RFU, the national governing body for rugby union in England. I am passionate about supporting the growth and development of the sport, as well as ensuring the financial sustainability and integrity of the organization. I have a varied skillset that enables me to contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and decision making, as well as to implement continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across the finance function. I also have a strong track record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as the board, senior management, audit committee, regulators, and auditors.
