Currently, I am managing the Reconstruction of the Western Rail Yards, overseeing design development, coordinating with a large consultant team, and representing the park's interests. Additionally, I regularly collaborate with colleagues across internal departments, ensuring projects serve the park, staff, and visitors' needs, while minimizing the impact of construction activities on park operations and the visitor experience. In my capacity as a CPC Landscape Architect, I managed the production of technical construction drawings; coordinated with consultants and vendors; collaborated with planners, designers, and construction staff; and supervised on-site contractors. Rust 2 Green (R2G) Civic Research Fellows work with faculty and community partners to rehabilitate and enhance parks, streets, infrastructure, ecology, habitat, and school and community projects in designated New York State urban centers.
