Responsible for overseeing all private charitable fundraising activities for the organization, including day-to-day operations of the Development department and managing a team of four development and fundraising professionals.

Responsible for supporting the development efforts of the organization through managing the individual giving program, managing a portfolio of 40 major donors, overseeing a 45- member young professionals network (Emerging Leaders Network), and assisting the CEO, Vice President of Development, and Board of Directors in other fundraising activities to secure at least $2.5 million in charitable funding annually. Primary activities and highlights include: - Creation of an individual cultivation and stewardship plan for the organization - Development of a comprehensive Major Gifts program, including the identification and qualification of Major Donor portfolios, cultivation, stewardship and solicitation plans - Working with the CEO and Vice President of Development on completing a successful $13 million capital campaign; responsible for writing and preparing all foundation proposals; developing and implementing strategy on individual donor solicitation; working with an 18 member, high profile capital campaign committee; Lead responsibility in securing 19 six-figure gifts and 3 seven-figure gifts - Built a 45 member young professionals board that is responsible for planning an annual fundraiser; through this event planning I created a website, worked with volunteers to solicit event sponsorship, managed volunteers through all aspects of event planning and logistics; the event has raised over $75,000 since inception in 2017

Primarily responsible for developing and executing the fundraising plan ($600,000 budget) and implementing all marketing and communication for the organization, including preparing large foundation proposals, government grant writing and individual and major gift cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Event highlights include lead planning and execution of:• Elliott’s Evening – school’s leading fundraiser; managed approximately 20 volunteers who worked extensively on sponsorship and the execution of a live and silent auction; experience in working with local vendors, invitation and marketing material design, budget management, administrative support; raised $111,000 for financial aid scholarships• Speaker Series – hosted former President Jimmy Carter, Ted Turner, and Hank Aaron as lecturers to the Galloway community; over 1000 in attendance at each event; responsible for the execution of the logistical plans and hosting responsibilities• Head of School Dinner – annual major donor dinner
