I am an experienced Board Chair, governance expert and Executive coach. I have strong strategic overview, social commitment, high standards and values. I coach established executives and Chairs, and people aspiring to leadership (particularly women and black people). I use some of the same skills to help develop boards. I am an experienced Chair and board member, having chaired Orbit Group from 2007-13, Curo 2016-22, been Deputy Chair at Housing 21 2013-21 and board member of CRE 2013-21. I have spoken and written on governance, and I bring my experience of working with boards as a consultant for the last 18 years. The wider world is changing fast, increasing the challenges for housing associations and charities, with an acute housing shortage, a cost of living crisis, and the pressing need to invest in new and existing housing: we owe it to our customers, communities and organisations to develop the best governance and leadership.
