Trained as a Spanish language and literature major at UBC, I am a keen analyst and excellent drawer of comparisons. My passion for languages and music remain intact and evolving with further exposure to new cultures in Colombia over the past two years. Lately, my time has been family-oriented but I have still found the time to get things done!This fine year of 2014, I have been back home working with my hands, as a finisher's apprentice and a research assistant: two positions to suit both my intellectual and physical preferences (thinking, but not always stuck in a chair). I have also enjoyed teaching Spanish and ESL this year. My primary aims for 2015 are to continue building on my near native fluency in Spanish with an objective of taking the DELE Spanish proficiency exam in April 2015. Also, notably, to refurbish my French skills, apply to graduate school and finish my first album.I am interested in developing new skills and ideas, collaboratively, in the fields of education, music and writing.The wisest person never stops learning!
