Organised and ran Local Plan enquiry providing liaison between planning authority and objectors/supporters. Ensured accurate record keeping of inquiry information on behalf of Planning Inspectorate and acted as PA to Planning inspector

Managed team of branch marketing associates and general insurance sales people to ensure targets and deadline were met. My team were high achievers and always received the highest bonuses. I covered and area from Durham to Hull and left when branches were merged. Whilst there I also organised promotional events and fundraising activities

Self employed office administrator - Jobs included setting up a new solicitor's office base; Covering sick leave for an accounts administrator. Managing the administration side of a company delivering construction skills. During this time I also trained as a Driving Instructor. undertook a Sage accounting course and undertook a course in teaching basic skill to adults.

Worked my way up through the ranks starting in 1978 as a 999 operator. Went on to work on Special Projects such as Investors in People, Involving Everyone also National Sales promotions.Managed a team of 30+ staff, my team were high achievers and always topped the target rankings.Took redundancy in 1994 following two years spent liaising with employment agencies to ensure staff taking redundancy had decent jobs to go to.
